Some of our current projects are described in our blog, including:
- a dog park, possibly several, at Veteran's Park, Hammel's Memorial Park, and/or Betty Virginia Park
- the Coates Bluff Greenway, including a nature trail and historic designation; recent research conducted by Centenary students shows lots of support from residents
- a bicycle-pedestrian master plan, creating shovel-ready projects that can be bid on when funding becomes available
- a proposal for painted bike lanes, "sharrows" and posted maps of recommended bike routes
- www.bikeSB.org as a resource for those who are considering bicycling for transportation
- downtown revitalization through master planning, residential and retail development, and a new cultural district
- by-laws for ABetterShreveport.org
